Hi, I’m Rivkah

Living right in between the gorgeous Blue Ridge east coast mountains and the salty Carolina beaches....

I am in the middle of this beautiful ride of life raising three wild, extremely creative, strong sons--Laef, Atlas and Oslo. For my feminine energy balance, we have an Austrian Labradoodle named Holiday and a mixed Russian Blue Cat named Nordica.

I have a background in art, music, travel, theater and wedding fashion + apparel. I've been making fine art wedding stories for 16+ years and I have almost 20 years of experience working in the bridal industry.

My work has allowed me to travel and make beautiful wedding stories from all over the world.

My everyday life is filled with the great obsession of deadlifts, feeding a lot of mouths, watering plants, carpooling to the ends of the earth, planning my next travel adventures, and facilitating a home atmosphere of creative ideas.

As a single mother, I’m constantly reminded of the importance of making photographs that stand the test of time. Time is fleeting; each moment is precious. In the blink of an eye, I will be that mother dancing with her son on his wedding day, crying as he marries the woman he loves.

I will want to revisit those moments. My experience allows me to approach each wedding with a posture of compassion and empathy.

I seek out the heart in the story. Sure, I love photographing the details–the shoes, cake, flowers, dress, etc., but it always comes back to the moments for me. My sacred task is to help you remember.

Finding the right photographer is all about how you see and feel beauty and connection. Some photographers, more than others, are able to capture beauty in a way that you can connect with and really appreciate. And maybe that’s why you’re here reading this now. I would be honored to be included in your search for the perfect artist to make photos on your wedding.

Please reach out to me with any questions. I would love to hear from you. - Rivkah
